The cost of a therapeutic hour (60 minutes) is $180, and the fee for a 90 minute session is $270.  Fees are payable at the beginning of each session by cash, cheque, or e-transfer; additionally, a secure credit card option is also available on JaneApp, my electronic scheduling assistant. Electronic receipts will be issued upon payment.  You may submit this official receipt to your extended health benefits provider; however, I do not direct bill any extended health benefit plans.

Many extended health plans cover the cost of counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor.  I encourage you to contact your extended healthcare provider to ask specifically whether Registered Clinical Counselling services are covered under your plan.  Please note that Registered Clinical Counselling Services are not covered by the Medical Service Plan of British Columbia (MSP).

Fees are kept in accordance with British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) standards, and may be increased annually.

I am an approved Crime Victim Assistance (CVAP) provider, and have supported many clients who have counselling benefits through ICBC.  I am an approved provider with Self Design, CUPE Employee Assistance Program, The Variety Club, and the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund.

Unfortunately, I am not able to take on any additional sliding scale clients at this time.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule our appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice.  Sessions can be moved from in person to virtual at any time. Sessions that are missed, cancelled, or rescheduled without such notice will be billed at the full rate.
