Tara is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the  BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor.  She specializes in providing therapy for adults and couples who are navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship challenges in Victoria, BC, and online throughout the province.

Tara brings a calm, compassionate, and grounded presence to her work. In particular, she supports clients in developing greater nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and practical tools to help navigate life’s challenges. As a result, clients are often better able to respond to stress with greater confidence and stability.

Tara’s approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. In addition, she takes a holistic approach to counselling and wellness, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities. Depending on each client’s needs, therapy is tailored to support meaningful and lasting change.

Outside of the office Tara enjoys spending time with family and friends.  In addition, she enjoys being at the gym, on the soccer field, and watching her son play hockey.  She’s a lifelong learner and enjoys new opportunities and growth.
